Positive response to TEK marine seats at Seawork 2011

TEK Seating, first time exhibitors at this years’ Seawork 2011 in Southampton, received a positive response to its selection of competitively priced marine pilot seats. Applicable for most vessels, using the latest ergonomic designs for high comfort and durability, TEK showed a range of seats in a choice of trims and options, from leading names such as Grammer, KAB and Milsco.

From the economical, adjustable TEK12 and the KAB 211 and 214 to Milsco’s all weather seats and the top quality Grammer Actimo (left) in PVC, we had interest across the board.

TEK Sales Manager Martin Coulson commented, ‘We had a good selection of visitors to the stand creating a number of leads for us to follow up on. Footfall was consistent with interest particularly focused on the Grammer Actimo, which we were happy with as its one of our higher spec seats. We would definitely consider doing Seawork again.’

AIso included on the stand was the new Grammer Avento, the first full suspension powerboat seat that absorbs vibrations and supports the body in extreme situations. Although it’s a high end product it was well received for the quality of its look and finish.
