GREAT FEEDBACK ON KAB SEATS AT PLANTWORX 2025

THE weather was kind at the Newick Showground at this year’s Plantworx as TEK partnered with KAB Seating to show a range of ergonomic construction seats for all budgets.

Mark Vivian, Sales Manager at TEK Seating, reported: “Both the TEK and KAB staff were happy with the positive response we had for the seats on display. We had a very good show; it wasn’t necessarily high footfall but the quality of enquiries we had on the stand were high and we will be following those up. Many were surprised by the variety of seats on offer and how sophisticated some of the seats are getting in manufacturers’ efforts to make the working day more comfortable and health focussed for drivers.’’

While KAB introduced their new Unity seat for the first time, which is due out next year, visitorss particularly focussed on the KAB 86/K4 air suspension seat, as well as the heavy duty 65/K4 solution for tough environments, suitable for medium and large construction machinery.

With its heavy-duty mechanical suspension, the 514C seat was seen as an ideal option for large industrial vehicle applications, as well as the KAB 555, while for medium sized vehicles the KAB 11-E6 mechanical suspension seat with a low back proved popular.

All KAB construction seats can help to protect users from the jolts and vibrations of working on difficult terrain for long hours in various weather conditions, helping to encourage a healthy sitting position, while combating tiredness.
