On show will be seats from the high spec 600 series, featuring high and medium back air suspension. The KAB 86/K4 is an air suspension seat with 12V or 24V compressor or manual controls with 5-position lumbar support and 75mm integral height adjustment.

The KAB 524 is a 4-spring mechanical suspension seat with 100mm vertical suspension stroke (4’), 60mm height and tilt adjustment, 5 position lumbar support and adjustable head rest.

The KAB 11-E6 (pictured) mechanical suspension seat with a low back is ideal for medium size, construction vehicles. It has a 70mm integral height adjustment, 80mm vertical suspension stroke and fore/aft adjustment of 150mm. Lumbar support, armrests, back extension, swivel, PVC and lap belt are optional.

Another robust construction seat is the KAB 525P air and mechanical suspension seats with pods and back angle. KAB also makes the economical 211 and 214 seats.

We also supply the popular, adjustable TEK 12 seat with slide rails and switch which is easy to fit as no drilling is required.

Mark Vivian, TEK Sales Manager, said: “Construction operators work in extreme environments and often suffer with back issues from vibrations. Protection is therefore crucial so it’s important that all drivers understand how their seat works and that it’s correctly fitted for their weight and body shape. In the long run, it’s certainly worth investing in a comfortable, safe seat.”
